WOOL | Covilhã Urban Art was launched in 2011 as the first festival of this type of Contemporary Art in Portugal, introducing it as a tool capable of promoting social, cultural, economic, and/or tourism transformation within a community and region — particularly in the interior of the country — while aiming for increased cohesion, sustainability, and the essential decentralisation of Culture.
In 2025, the festival will take place from 21 to 29 June.
