WOOL | Covilhã Urban Art Festival was launched in 2011 as Portugal’s first festival dedicated to these forms of contemporary art, presenting them as tools capable of promoting social, cultural, economic, and/or tourism transformation within a community and region, specifically in the interior, aiming for increased cohesion, sustainability, and a much-needed decentralisation of culture.
In 2025, the festival took place from 21 to 29 of June.
